I was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1993. I got my Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Digital Media, in 2017 where I also directed my first short movie,  CTRL+Z.

Since then, I’ve worked in many film and photography projects both in Turkey and abroad.

Growing up on the land where Aristotle, Heraclitus, Epictetus and many other great philosophers walked the planet, I’ve always been interested in philosophy.

In the last few years, I’ve particularly focused on the notion of time, inquiries of phenomenology as a field and the reality/illusion of existence. In my work, leaving the subjectivity aside,

I try to question what a thing is in itself and also how unique perceptions are formed in the human mind through different cognitive processes. Creating multi-layered and fluid images, I aim to explore what’s behind the representation of a singular moment.

For now, having photography and video art at the core, I use some tools from other disciplines to craft my projects.

Overall, my work is only about the archaic questions humankind has been asking for thousands of years, yet still remain unanswered today.

I had been working at a technology company until January 2023, holding the role of Digital Product and Services Manager.

I’ve recently moved to Neuchâtel, Switzerland where I’ll be focusing on my art projects in 2023.
